Support Group for Burnt Out Moms
Being a mother can be incredibly rewarding, and it can also suck the life out of you. But what if you could reconnect to your life force by connecting with other hard-working moms?
Time and time again in my work, I meet with mothers who are doing so much. They are signing up for soccer practice, ballet, music lessons, scheduling play dates, cleaning the house, cooking the meals, maybe working a full time job, and also managing to look great on top of it all?!
And every time we meet for a call, they always have a smile on their face, nodding and taking notes to make sure they are doing everything they can to support their families. But usually, there comes a time when there is a breakdown.
It turns out, mamas need mamas too. What if we could gather and channel that beautiful, nurturing, maternal energy, to create a supportive web for each other?
In this group, there will be space to:
Celebrate the gifts of motherhood (including single moms)
Gripe about the pains
Smile because you didn’t have to complain about that one thing; someone else already did
Share tips and resources
Laugh and cry and laugh again
Remind yourself, that you don’t need to hold this alone
We may bring in arts (journaling, visual arts, singing) depending on the group
